Adopt by motion an ordinance amendment to eliminate the City Council meeting scheduled on <br /> the second Monday of each month. <br /> 2. Adopt by motion a resolution regarding the start time of City Council meetings. <br /> BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION <br /> At the April 8, 2013, meeting, Council consensus was to adjust the following in regard to the City Council <br /> meeting schedule: <br /> 1. Eliminate the second regular City Council meeting of each month. <br /> 2. Change the City Council meeting start time for the third meeting of each month to 6:00 p.m., or <br /> immediately following the Economic Development Authority meeting,whichever is later. <br /> An ordinance amendment is required to change the meeting schedule.
