Hold the public hearing. <br /> 2. Adopt by motion an ordinance adding section 30-877 and amending section 30-1311 and 30-1312 to <br /> address signage in the I-3 General Industrial Zoning District. <br /> BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION <br /> The I-3 zoning district was created as a home for certain necessary industrial uses within the community <br /> that did not require municipal water or sanitary sewer. In the development of this district, the signage <br /> regulations and the setbacks are not clearly defined. <br /> This ordinance copies the signage and the setbacks from I-2 (medium industrial),with the exception of <br /> billboards. Billboards are not proposed to be allowed in the I-3 zoning district. <br /> Planning Commission comments <br /> The Planning Commission held their public hearing on March 12.
