RESOLUTION 13- 02 <br />MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT - 2013 <br />THIS AGREEMENT made and entered into by and between the City of Elk River hereinafter referred to <br />as the "City" and the County of Wright hereinafter referred to as the "County ". <br />WHEREAS, it is deemed to the best interest of all parties that the duties and responsibilities of both the <br />City and the County as to maintenance on Bridge #86515 and its approaches should be clearly defined. <br />NOW THEREFORE, IT IS AGREED with regard to said structure maintenance: <br />MAINTENANCE <br />CITY RESPONSIBLE FOR: <br />(1) Maintenance of street lights; <br />(2) Removal of snow from sidewalk; <br />(3) Maintenance of slopes /berms and roadway on north approach (includes: turf maintenance, <br />bituminous maintenance, drainage and riprap maintenance); <br />(4) Snow and ice control from bridge and approaches; <br />(5) Removal of markings /spray paint etc. from visible surfaces of bridge structure. <br />COUNTY RESPONSIBLE FOR: <br />(1) Periodic sweeping to remove sand and debris and removing sand /dirt from expansion joints; <br />(2) Signing for bridge and approaches; <br />(3) Maintenance of slopes /berms and roadway on south approach (includes: turf maintenance, <br />bituminous maintenance, drainage and riprap maintenance); <br />(4) Centerline and edge pavement marking (includes stop bar). <br />The agreement between the City and County shall be for a one -year period and run from January 1, <br />2013, to-December 31, 2013.
