ELI(RIVER <br /> EN=RGYCITY <br /> City of <br /> Elk ° a wu nwmm. -Ls_ <br /> River <br /> MEMORANDUM <br /> TO: Energy City Commissioners <br /> FROM: Rebecca Haug, Environmental Administrator <br /> DATE: December 11, 2012 <br /> SUBJECT: Meeting Reminder & Staff Updates— December 19, 2012 <br /> This is to remind you of our upcoming meeting on Wednesday,December 19,2012 at 8:30 a.m. <br /> in the Uppertown Conference Room at the Pik River City Hall. The agenda and November <br /> minutes are attached. <br /> STAFF UPDATES <br /> COMMISSION SUBCOMMITTEES <br /> Education—The Education Subcommittee met on December 5,2012. Commissioner Zehringer <br /> will give an update from the meeting. <br /> Energy Design—The Energy Design Subcommittee met on December 6,2012. Staff Sagstetter will <br /> give an update from the meeting. <br /> Demonstration Criteria—The Demonstration Criteria Subcommittee met on December 10,2012. <br /> Commissioner Rybak will give an update from the meeting. <br /> Visionary—Due to inclement weather the visionary committee did not meet during its scheduled <br /> time on December 10,2012. The committee will meet after this meeting and provide an update to <br /> the Commission in January. <br /> TINY SOLAR HOUSE <br /> MRES and the City sent out press releases indicating that the house is open for tours and will <br /> remain in Elk River until the spring. There was discussion at last month's meeting about bringing <br /> the house to the schools and having an Open House at the Tiny Solar House. Please be prepared to <br /> further discuss how ECC can promote this demonstration site. <br /> P O W L U I A l <br /> NATURE <br />
