The final <br /> playground design and budget will be presented to the Parks and Recreation Commission in the next <br /> couple months at one of the scheduled regular meetings. <br /> BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION <br /> The existing structure is over 25 years old and due to its deterioration from age, increased safety <br /> concerns, and growing costs to repair the structure the City Council approved a$250,000 budget for a <br /> replacement destination playground. <br /> Concepts <br /> Staff will be presenting several design concepts,provided to staff by two separate playgrounds <br /> manufactures,for a destination playground.
