Call Meeting To Order <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof,the work session meeting of the Elk River Parks and <br /> Recreation Commission was called to order at 6:34 p.m. by Chair Anderson. <br /> 2. Consider October 3, 2012 Parks &Recreation Commission Work Session enda <br /> MOVED BY COMMISSIONER NYSTROM AND SECONDED BY <br /> COMMISSIONER AHLNESS TO APPROVE THE OCTOBER 3, 2012 PARKS & <br /> RECREATION WORK SESSION AGENDA. MOTION CARRIED 6-0. <br /> 3. Work Session Discussion Items - 2013 Capital Improvement Projects <br /> Parks and Recitation Director,Michael Hecker explained that commission members <br /> prioritize the 2013 Capital Improvement Projects. <br /> Planner/Parks Planner, Chris Leeseberg presented the following projects that need attention. <br /> 1. Downtown parking lot retaining wall <br /> 2. Trott Brook Creek Trail <br /> 3. Kliever Lake Fields <br /> 4. Deerfield Playground <br /> 5. Baldwin Playground <br /> 6. Lions Park Skate Park <br /> 7. Oak Knoll well <br /> 8. Woodlands Trail; Great Northern Trail south of tunnel <br /> 9. Windsor Park Trail (portion along County Road 33) <br /> 10. Lake Orono boat launch dock <br /> 11. Orono Park dog park <br /> 12. Orono Park play structure <br /> 13. Installation of 3,000 park property line signage <br /> 14. Parks Master Plan <br />
