The event takes place at Lake Orono Park. The request is to sell 3.2 percent <br />beer on sale on July 4, 2002, during the July 4th event. The Chamber of Commerce has <br />submitted the appropriate application and license fee. Because the event is being held on <br />City property at Lake Orono Park, liquor liability insurance is required. Approval of the <br />request should be based on the City receiving a certificate of insurance showing liquor <br />liability coverage. <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED <br /> <br />Council motion approving the request of an on-sale 3.2% malt liquor license for the Elk <br />River Area Chamber of Commerce contingent on the City receiving liquor liability insurance. <br /> <br />s:\clerk\licenses\liquor\letters\temp liq lie chamber.doc <br />
