RESOLUTION 02 - 25 <br />A RESOLUTION FOR THE CITY OF ELK RIVER <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION REGARDING LOCAL FUNDING <br />FOR A STATE TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM PROJECT <br />AT THE INTERSECTION OF TRUNK HIGHWAY 10 AND MAIN STREET <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Region 7W Transportation Policy Board (TPB) has selected the Trunk <br />Highway 10/Main Street (MSAS 113) intersection improvements for <br />federal funding consideration by the Central Minnesota Area <br />Transportation Partnership (ATP); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the estimated project cost is $423,291; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the federal funding is capped for this project at $338,632; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River, <br />Minnesota: <br /> <br />The City Council does support the improvement of the intersection of <br />Trunk Highway 10/Main Street. <br /> <br />The City Council is committed to providing local funding estimated in the <br />amount of $84,659 plus any additional costs above the federal funding <br />amount of $338,632. <br /> <br />Passed and adopted this 25th day of March, 2002. <br /> <br />ATTESTED: <br /> <br />Sahdra A. ~eine, City <br /> <br />Dan Tveite, Vice Mayor <br /> <br />C:\WlNDOWS\Temporary Internet Files\Content.
