ity of <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />Item #3. <br /> <br />TO: <br /> <br />FROM: <br /> <br />DATE: <br /> <br />SUBJECT: <br /> <br />Mayor & City Council <br /> <br />Pat Klaers, City A~pi~rator <br /> <br />May 7, 1998 ~ <br /> <br />Presentation from Patchin and <br />Associates <br /> <br />Per Council direction on April 27, 1998, representatives from the Patchin <br />appraisal firm will be in attendance at this meeting to make a presentation <br />on some of the work they have performed for the city. Joe Mako and Jason <br />Messner will talk about the area wide trunk utility benefit for the pubhc <br />improvement project in east Elk River. It appears that the per acre benefit <br />for residential and commercial properties has increased since the initial <br />report was completed in summer 1996. <br /> <br />Additionally, I have asked Joe and Jason to review the report on the Brown <br />property. This includes the per acre value for the 100 acres of the Brown <br />property and also the road corridor area which includes the Brown residence. <br /> <br />Patchin has also completed appraisals for the Eull, Barrett, and Korthals <br />properties which lie between 171St and 173rd Avenues. They subcontracted <br />out the appraisal for the Kirkeide property and residence which is in the <br />center of the Brown property. All of these property owners may be in <br />attendance at this Council meeting. <br /> <br />The worksession is planned for a 5 to 6 p.m. timeframe with the EDA <br />meeting beginning at 6 p.m. The trunk benefit report is sure to get some <br />additional discussion during the joint Utilities Commission/City Council <br />meeting which follows the EDA meeting at approximately 7 p.m. <br /> <br />Please bring the previously distributed Patchin reports to this meeting.
