After the City Council discussion on the <br />draft tobacco ordinance, we will recess into the training room for a few hours <br />to discuss on a variety of current and future projects. <br /> <br />The following is an outline of the topics and issues that need to be reviewed. <br /> <br />East Elk River Project Update <br />A.* Update on the Wild and Scenic River Ordinance <br />B.* Project schedule and update on the commercial/industrial <br /> project and the residential project <br />C. Update on possible BESTE funds (via Congressman Oberstar) <br /> for the eastern road corridor project <br />D. Update on the delineation of wetlands in the Brown and <br /> Vandenberge areas <br />E. Update on the permitting process for the sewer, water, storm <br /> sewer, etc. components of the east Elk River public improvement <br /> project <br /> F.* Appraisal Reports <br /> i. Request for Evergreen to begin negotiations for the three <br /> properties between 171~t and 173rd <br /> ii. Discuss the Kirkeide situation <br /> iii. Discuss the Brown situation <br />G. Review funding sources for land acquisitions. <br /> i. Street right-of-way <br /> ii. Business Park/industrial properties <br /> H.** Consider appraisal for overall benefit of trunk utilities (possible <br /> increase in the $6,000 level which was identified in the summer, <br /> 1996, Patchin Report) <br /> <br />13065 Orono Parkway · P.O.
