~ity of <br /> <br />River <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />Item# 6.9. <br /> <br />TO: <br /> <br />FROM: <br /> <br />DATE: <br /> <br />SUBJECT: <br /> <br />Mayor and City Council <br /> <br /> Scott Harlicker, Planning Assistant~ <br /> <br />April 20, 1998 <br /> <br />Request by Paul Krause for <br />Conditional Use Permit, Public <br />Hearing Case No. CU 97-28 <br /> <br />Issue <br /> <br />At the March 16, 1998 City Council meeting the Council requested additional <br />information on the layout of the golf course. A formal layout of the golf course <br />was unavailable. In order to give the Council an idea of how the holes relate <br />to the houses along the course, attached is a copy of an air photo with holes <br />#2 and #6 highlighted. Also attached is a copy of a scorecard which shows the <br />location of the tee boxes and greens. Also attached for your reference is a copy <br />of the March 16ta staff report. The applicant has indicated that he will attend <br />the meeting and be available to answer questions. <br /> <br />Recommendation <br /> <br />The Planning Commission and staff recommend the City Council approve <br />this request for a conditional use permit for a storage building with the <br />following conditions: <br /> <br />1. ELEVATIONS OF THE PROPOSED BUILDING SHALL BE PROVIDED FOR REVIEW AND <br /> APPROVAL BY STAFF. <br /> <br />2. THE EXISTING BUILDING SHALL BE PAINTED AND REPAIRED AS NEEDED. <br /> <br />A LANDSCAPING PLAN SHALL BE PROVIDED FOR REVIEW AND APPROVAL BY STAFF. THE <br />PLAN SHOULD CONSENTRATE LANDSCSAPING THE AREA AROUND THE PROPOSED <br />BUILDING. <br /> <br />4. THE SITE SHALL BE CLEANED UP AND NO OUTDOOR STORAGE ALLOWED. <br /> <br />5. THE DUMPSTER SHALL BE KEPT INSIDE THE PROPOSED BUILDING OR OUTSIDE WITHIN AN <br /> APPROVED ENCLOSURE. <br /> <br />6. THE APPLICANT SHALL CONTACT ELK RIVER UTILITIES REGARDING MOVING OVERHEAD <br /> WIRES AND WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE COST OF MOVING THOSE WIRES. <br /> <br />13065 Orono Parkway · P.O.
