Participation has been <br />limited to the same 6 customers for 2010 and 2011. The basics of the program are as follows: <br />Mazketing <br />1) A reminder of the contest is printed on bill statements. <br />2) An advertisement is run in the local paper detailing the requirements, dates, and prizes. <br />3) Applications are available at the general office for customers to pick up. <br />Cost Estimates <br />^ Applications $50 <br />• Prizes $300 <br />• Star News Ad $300 <br />• Other Supplies 50 <br />Total $700 <br />Staff Time Estimates <br />Requirements <br />^ Application Processing 1 hours <br />Administration 4 hours <br />• Judging (Volunteers) 2 hours <br />Note (Princeton has used senior citizens groups, Civic Betterment, <br />Auxiliary's, etc. to judge. Recently staff has been judging. <br />^ Princeton requires customer of utility <br />• If applicant is not a customer they are not eligible <br />Recommend LED requirement (Princeton has added recently) <br />^ Recommend timers to limit energy consumption (ERMU staff <br />recommendation) <br />
