REQUEST FOR ACTION <br />TO ITEM NUMBER <br />Ma or and Ci Council 8.7 <br />AGENDA SECTION MEETING DATE PREPARED BY <br />General Business anua 17, 2012 Tina Allard, Ci Clerk <br />ITEM DESCRIPTION REVIEWED By <br />Consider Date/Time for Board of Appeal and Equalization Cal Portner, Ci Administrator <br />Meeting REVIEWED BY <br />ACTION REQUESTED <br />Council motion calling a special meeting of the Local Board of Appeal and Equalization for Wednesday, <br />Apri130, 2012, at 6:30 p.m. at the Sherburne County Government Center. <br />BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION <br />Sherburne County has requested to schedule the Local Board of Appeal meeting. As you know, at least <br />one member must be at the meeting who has attended the state-required training. Councilmembers <br />Zerwas, Westgaard, and Motin meet the training requirements through November 2012. <br />A couple of date options should be considered if this date doesn't work for a quorum of the Council. The <br />meeting must be held between April 1 and May 31. <br />----------------------------------------- <br />Future Training Opportunities <br />The State doesn't offer training until June of each year and offers various sessions throughout the <br />remainder of the year.
