MEMORANDUM <br />TO: Heritage Preservation Commission <br />FROM: Rebecca Haug, Environmental Administrator <br />DATE: December 7, 2011 <br />SUBJECT: Items on the January 10, 2012 Planning Commission Agenda <br />The following is a summary of the agenda items for the January 10, 2012 Planning <br />Commission meeting and their potential to conflict with any known ox potential cultural, <br />historical or archaeological resources: <br />1. Request by Great River Energy (17845 Hwy 10) & (10700165`h Ave) for <br />Conditional Use Permit & License amendment to combine the two properties - (CU <br />11-20)& (CU 11-21) - No new constmction will be happening at this site. No <br />known SHPO site on the affected property and the city's archaeological model <br />shows low to moderate potential fox an archaeological site. <br />2. Request by Cornerstone Auto for an expansion - (CU 11-15) -. No known SHPO <br />site on the affected property and the city's archaeological model shows low to <br />moderate potential for an archaeological site. Staff recommends the standard <br />condition listed below is placed on this request. <br />Standard Condition: <br />"Any item or condition found that indicates the site is likely to yield information <br />important to prehistory or history shall be reported to the city immediately. Further, <br />the city reserves the right fo stop work authorized in its approval until the site is <br />appropriately investigated and work is authorized to continue by the city." <br />
