ver <br />MEMORANDUM <br />TO: Heritage Preservation Commission <br />FROM: Rebecca Haug, Environmental Administrator <br />DATE: August 18, 2011 <br />SUBJECT: Items on the September 13, 2011 Planning Commission <br />Agenda <br />The following is a summary of the agenda items for the September 13, 2011 Planning <br />Commission meeting and their potential to conflict with any known ox potential cultural, <br />historical or azchaeological resources: <br />1. Request by Elk River Landfill for Conditional Use Permit to expand the existing <br />facility - (CU 11-12) - No known SHPO site on the affected property and the city's <br />azchaeological model shows low to moderate potential for an azchaeological site. <br />Staff recommends the standard condition listed below is placed on this <br />request. <br />2. Request by Cornerstone Auto fox anexpansion - (CU 11-15) -. No known SHPO <br />site on the affected property and the city's archaeological model shows low to <br />moderate potential for an archaeological site. Staff recommends the standard <br />condition listed below is placed on this request <br />Standard Condition: <br />"Any item or condition found that indicates the site is likely to yield information <br />important to prehistory or history shall be reported to the city immediately. Further, <br />the city reserves the right to stop work authorized in its approval until the site is <br />appropriately investigated and work is authorized to continue by the city." <br />
