Staff advertised in the Elk River Star News and on ERTvl2 for <br />applicants to serve on the Planning Commission and also emailed one of the Comprehensive <br />Plan Task Force members to determine if they would be interested in serving on the <br />Commission. <br /> <br />One application for the Planning Commission from Brad Stevens was received. Mr. Stevens <br />is a 17-year resident of the City and is employed by the First National Bank of Elk River. He <br />has provided a written narrative regarding his interest to serve on the Planning Commission. <br /> <br />Recommendation <br /> <br />Staff requests that the City Council interview Mr. Stevens and, if appropriate, appoint him to <br />serve on the Planning Commission to complete Commissioner Jenson's term, which expires <br />February 28, 2005. <br /> <br />S:\PLANNING\Planning cornrmssion\Interview 8-18.doc <br /> <br /> <br />
