The event was bigger and better <br />than in the past due to the efforts of Kathy LeGare. She planned several new pieces to the <br />event and did a great job. We had over 500 people pre-registered for the event and several <br />more who came the night of. <br />October Programs <br />Programs n,nning in October include adult fitness, Parent and Tot Tumbling, Preschool <br />Tumbling, Parent and Tot Open Playtime, Parent's Night Out, Eager Elks Tumbling, Eager <br />Elks Soccer, Eager Elks Basketball, Girl Power, Cheer America, Young Americans Self <br />Defense, Women's Volleyball, Co-Rec Volleyball, Family Fright Night, and Skating <br />Academy. <br />Facility Use <br />We programmed 579 hours of facility use in October. 180 hours of this was at Lions Park <br />Center. 213 hours was programming that took place at Emporium. The remaining 186 <br />hours took place at the various other facilities both indoor and out. <br />Wellness Committee <br />We conduced our annual blood drive with Red Cross on October 29`h. They were grateful <br />for our Friday date as it helps get them through the weekend. Our goal was to give 40 pints <br />of blood and we were able to give 46. <br />
