So far 428 people have had their taxes done <br />at the Activity Center this year. <br />Pinewood Promotion: Pinewood Party at the Activity Center on March 23. Wii <br />games, Hot dogs and Pinewood staff to talk about the new season. 22 people came to <br />participate. The weather was bad and schools were closed. <br />C.A.E.R. Fundraiser at the Senior Center on 3.29. The Elk River Lions hosted a <br />pancake dinner and the Senior Center provided prizes for "Friendship" Bingo. All <br />proceeds go to C.A.E.R. # 104 in attendance. The Senior Center and Activity Centers <br />participants donated a total of $1,360.00 and 375 pounds of food. There was a new <br />twist on the fundraiser this year. One of the Activity Center's volunteer leaders asked <br />the Smear card group to make a donation to CAER. From there began a friendly <br />competition between different groups at the Activity Center, who could raise the most <br />cash donations. Staff developed a chart to track the progress.
