The existing conditions survey was last completed <br />prior to 2005. There have been a number of changes to the site since the survey was last completed. In <br />addition we do not have any formal geotechnical information to determine the soils and ground water <br />table in the area. <br />The architectural contract identifies the City of Elk River shall provide a complete topographic/boundary <br />survey and geotechnical report. We have solicited three quotes for the completion of the survey and <br />three quotes for the completion of required geotechnical information. The quotes are as follows: <br />Survev <br />Bolton &Menk, Inc., Ramsey - $8,900 Lump Sum <br />Oliver Surveying and Engineering, Inc., Elk River - $9,500 Lump Sum <br />Midwest Land Surveyors & Civil Engineers, Inc., Anoka - $13,960 Lump Sum <br />Geotechnical Services <br />Northern Technologies, Inc., Ramsey - $2,600 Lump Sum <br />Braun Intertec, Corp., St. Cloud - $4,350 Lump Sum <br />American Engineering Testing, Inc., Albertville - $4,950 Lump Sum <br />The Public Works Facility Committee has reviewed the quotes. We feel all proposers understood what <br />we have asked for and have the ability to meet our requirements for the price they have proposed.
