Elk River Library Board <br />April 18,1995 <br />Board Members: <br />Murray McNair Present <br />Mary Keifenheim Present <br />Linda Richie Present <br />RitchiE~ <br />Also Present: <br />Verne Oleksowicz, GRRL <br />Meeting was called to order at 6:35 p.m. by Chairperson Murray McNair. <br />Bills from the months of February and March were reviewed and a motion made to <br />approve payment. <br />The plans submitted by Phil Hals for the landscaping around the library were <br />discussed. Mary made the motion to approve of the plans except for the concrete car <br />stops. Linda seconded the motion. The motion passed. <br />The Librarian's request for a computer access station for the library was approved. The <br />cost should be about $3,480. A motion was made and passed to purchase more <br />shelving for magazines. The board approved purchase up to $1,500.00. <br />Murray updated the board on the maintenance on the building training and the <br />furnace. The pneumatic controls have not been installed yet. <br />The Americans Disability Act inspection was reviewed by the board. It was felt that the <br />Library was in compliance since the addition. <br />Meeting adjourned at 7:35 p.m. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Mary Keifenheim <br />
