LIBRARY BOARD <br />SEPTEMBER 24, 2002 <br />6:30 <br />Call To Order <br />Determine Quorum <br />Visitors <br />Adopt Agenda <br />Secretary's Report <br />Minutes <br />Correspondence <br />Suggestion Box <br />Treasurer's Report <br />Librarian's Report <br />Old Business <br />Redesigning Behind Front Desk - <br />Public Works will be coming to remove the old shelving on October ls` <br />Lefebvre's Carpet will be installing new carpeting on October 3`d. <br />Shelving has been ordered and will be on hold until we call that the carpet <br />installation has been completed. In the meantime we will be using book carts to <br />store books being held for patrons. <br />Review of Contract - <br />The city of Elk River is looking for input from the library board on the contract <br />with GRRL. <br />New Business <br />Library Board Resignations -Two board members have had to resign from the <br />library board; one for health reasons and the other because of a new job that <br />requires her to work on Tuesday evenings. If you know of anyone interested in <br />applying please let me know, I'll have applications on hand or they can pick them <br />up at city hall. The board will need to designate a new secretary. <br />M.L.A. -Eight people from Elk River will be attending M.L.A. on Thursday, <br />September. <br />
