ORDINANCE 98- 23 <br /> CITY OF ELK RIVER <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ELK RIVER <br /> AMENDING SECTION 500.06(6) <br /> OF THE CITY CODE OF ORDINANCES <br /> <br /> Case No. OA 98-5 <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Elk River does ordain as follows: <br /> <br />Section 1. Section 500.06(6) of the City of Elk River Code of Ordinances <br />shall be amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />The following are declared to be a nuisance affecting public peace and safety: <br /> <br />6. The parking of a truck tractor and/or trailer, or other commercial type <br />vehicle, excluding pickup trucks or vans, in excess of seven (7,000) thousand <br />pounds gross weight, on: <br /> <br />a. Public property within an area zoned residential; <br /> <br />Residential lots in all zoning districts, except the R-lA and A-1 <br />Districts; and <br /> <br />Co <br /> <br />Platted parcels and lots five (5) acres in size or less in the R-lA <br />and A-1 Districts, unless a conditional use permit for a home <br />occupation has been granted. <br /> <br />The idling of a truck tractor in excess of fifteen (15) minutes from April <br />16th through October 31st; and thirty (30) minutes from November Ist <br />through April 15th. <br /> <br />Section 2. That this ordinance shall take effect January 1, 1999, upon <br />publication as provided by law. <br /> <br />Passed and adopted by the City council of the City of Elk River this 16th day <br />of November, 1998. <br /> <br />Sandra A.
