MEETING OF ELK RIVER PUBLIC LIBRARY BOARD <br />HELD AT ELK RIVER LIBRARY <br />TUESDAY, JUNE 22, 2010 <br />Board Members Present: John Dietz, Jayne Dietz, Karen Stelk <br />Board Members Absent: Aaron Ziegler, Mike Hangaard <br />Others Present: Mick Stoffers, Branch Manager; Brandi Carter, GRRL Regional <br />Supervisor; Nick Zerwas, Elk River City Council Liaison <br />Call Meeting to Order <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River Public Library Board <br />was called to order at 6:35 p.m. by Board Chair John Dietz. <br />2. Consider June 22, 2010 Library Board A eg nda. <br />JAYNE DIETZ MOTIONED AND KAREN STELK SECONDED TO APPROVE <br />THE AGENDA AS PRESENTED. MOTION PASSED 3-0. <br />3. Consider Minutes of Mav 25, 2010 Library Board Meeting. <br />KAREN STELK MOVED TO APPROVE THE MINUTES OF THE MAY 25, 2010 <br />LIBRARY BOARD MEETING. JAYNE DIETZ SECONDED THE MOTION. <br />THE MOTION PASSED 3-0. <br />4. Consider June 22, 2010 Treasurer's Report. <br />KAREN STELK MOTIONED TO APPROVE THE JUNE 22, 2010 <br />TREASURER'S REPORT. JAYNE DIETZ SECONDED THE MOTION. THE <br />MOTION PASSED 3-0. <br />5. Librarian's Report -Mick Stoffers <br />5.1. The SMART System has been installed. <br />5.2. Community Room Policy <br />We agreed upon leaving the policy "as is." This means no exchange of <br />money can take place. Brandi advised us based upon other Community <br />Room policy issues that if "no political party" can use the room, that <br />needs to be in writing. <br />
