REQUEST FOR ACTION <br />To Item Number <br />Ci Council 3.3. <br />Agenda Section Meeting Date Prepared by <br />Consent June 14, 2010 Jessica Miller, Executive <br /> Secreta /De u Ci Clerk <br />Item Description Reviewed by <br />Commercial Kennel License -Nora and Bob McLaughlin, Rin Tina Allard, Ci Clerk <br />Tin Inn Kennel, LLC Reviewed by <br /> Lori ohnson, Ci Administrator <br />Action Requested <br />Motion to approve a commercial kennel license to Nora and Bob McLaughlin DBA Rin Tin Inn Kennel, <br />LLC contingent upon receipt of proper worker's compensation insurance. <br />Background/Discussion <br />Nora and Bob McLaughlin DBA Rin Tin Inn Kennel, LLC have made application fox a commercial <br />kennel license to be located at 11631 219`" Ave NW. Mr. and Mrs. McLaughlin are new owners of the <br />kennel which was previously run by Dana and Rich LaFavor. A conditional use permit (CUP) is required <br />for this license and was approved as part of the previous owner's application process. <br />The applicants have submitted all the necessary application materials and fees. The police department <br />conducted a kennel inspection and the kennel meets the city's requirements.
