<br />CITY OF ELK RIVER <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 06- <br />RESOLUTION CANVASSING RETURNS OF ELECTION <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River, Sherburne <br />County, Minnesota (the "City"), that it is hereby found, determined and declared that the <br />special election held in and for the City on September 12,2006, was in all respects duly <br />and legally called and held and the returns thereof have been duly canvassed, and the <br />votes cast at said election for and against the following question were as follows: <br /> <br />"Shall the City of Elk River, Minnesota, be authorized to pledge its full <br />faith, credit and resources to bonds to be issued by the Economic <br />Development Authority of the City of Elk River in an amount not to <br />exceed $12,000,000 to defray the expense ofthe acquisition and <br />betterment of a recreational facility owned by the Authority and leased to <br />the YMCA?" <br /> <br />City of Elk P1A P1B P2A P2B P3A P3B P4A P4B TOTAL <br />River <br />YMCA <br />QUESTION <br />YES 296 187 138 250 159 172 142 264 1608 <br />NO 167 172 127 250 170 219 146 215 1466 <br />Under Votes 5 6 2 2 0 5 1 11 <br /> 32 <br />Over Votes 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 <br /> <br />and said proposition, having received the approval of a majority of the votes cast thereon, <br />is hereby declared to have carried. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />member and, after full discussion thereof and upon a vote being <br />taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />Whereupon the resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
