<br />CITY OF <br />e <br /> <br /> <br />{.l\.r SE' 7 1m <br />'\ <br /> <br />Dear City Official: <br /> <br />I wish to extend to you a cordial invitation to attend the League of <br />Minnesota Cities' regional meeting hosted by the City of Avon on <br />October 7, 1993 at Rascal's Restaurant. <br /> <br />The afternoon program. beginning at 2:30 p.m. will be a panel <br />presentation by representatives of State of Minnesota Departments. <br /> <br />There will be adequate time in the afternoon program for open <br />discussion of local issues - bring your questions or concerns to the <br />meeting for discussion. <br /> <br />The afternoon program. concluding at 5:00 p.m. will be followed by a <br />social with a cash bar available and then dinner at 6:15 p.m. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Following a welcome to our city from the Mayor. LMC President. Leland <br />Swanson, will address the audience regarding the organization's focus <br />for the coming year. After the President's message the League will <br />present its new video "How to Conduct a Truth in Taxation Hearing." <br />The dinner will conclude with door prizes. including a free <br />registration to the 1994 annual conference in St. Paul. <br /> <br />To make reservations for your city, please return the enclosed <br />registration form as soon as possible. In case of cancellations, <br />please notify Lisa Heinen by September 30.
