City of Elk River <br />City Council <br />Resolution 25-29 <br />A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Elk River Acknowledging <br />Contributions <br />WHEREAS, the City of Elk River is grateful to all civic groups, organizations, and <br />individuals for their contributions to the community; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Elk River received a hand-crafted metal sign from Sloan Sherrett, <br />Brody Ternus, and Royce Tolbert as a part of their Elk River High School DECA Serves <br />project with the intent it be displayed at the Furniture and Things Community Event Center. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council, by at least four -fifths <br />vote, to acknowledge the support and commend Sloan Sherrett, Brody Ternus, and Royce <br />Tolbert for their donation. <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Councilmember <br />Wagner and duly seconded by Councilmember Grul2a, and upon vote being taken thereon, <br />the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Dietz_ Councilmembers Beyer, Calva, Grupa, <br />and Wagner and the following against: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly <br />passed and adopted. <br />The following members were present: Mayor Dietz, Councilmembers Bearer.
