U <br />>_(t <br />City of <br />Elk <br />River <br />City of Elk River <br />City Council <br />Resolution 23-47 <br />A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Elk River Acknowledging <br />Contributions <br />WHEREAS, the City of Elk River is grateful to all civic groups, organizations, and <br />individuals for their contributions to the community; and. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Elk River received a $10,000 donation from the Zimmerman Fire <br />Relief Association with the intent it be used by Elk River Fire Department for the Elk River <br />Fire Academy. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council, by at least four -fifths <br />vote, to acknowledge the support and commend The Zimmerman Fire Relief Association <br />for their donation. <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Councilmember <br />WesWard and duly seconded by Councilmember Wa er, and upon vote being taken <br />thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Maor Dietz, Councilmembers Grupa, <br />Westgaard, Beyer, and Wagner and the following against: none, whereupon said resolution <br />was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />The following members were present: Ma -or Dietz, Councilmembers G1242a, Westgaardd <br />Bever, and Wagner and the following absent: none. <br />Passed and adopted this 20`' day of November 2023. <br />a <br />L V <br />jo n Diet N yor <br />ATTEST: <br />Tina Allard, City Clerk <br />P 0 V E R E I I <br />NATURE <br />
