<br />Regular Semi-Monthly Meeting of the <br />City Council of Elk River <br />Held in the Council Chambers of the City Office BUg. <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />July 21, 1975'at 7:3.0 p.m. <br /> <br />The regular semi-monthly meeting of the Elk River City Council was called to order <br />by Mayor Lundberg on July 21, 1975 at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chamber of the City <br />Office Building. Members present Mayor Lundberg, Councilmember otto, Hudson, and <br />Syring. <br /> <br />The minutes of the July 7~ 1975 meeting were reviewed the motion pertaining to the <br />bike path should read $1,250.00 and not $1,750.00 no other corrections were noted so <br />the minutes were: approved as corrected. <br /> <br />Moved by Councilmember Hudson and seconded by Councilmember otto approving the date <br />change for the St. Andrews Church on their one day beer license from August 17, 1975 <br />to August 24, 1975. Board resolution. A copy of the lresolution is attached. <br />Motion unaminously carriad by a vote of 4-0. <br /> <br />Moved by Councilmember otto and seconded by Couniiimember SYring accepting the plans <br />and specification for the seal coating, street improvements, concrete curb and side- <br />walk, 1975 Improvements date' July 1975 by McCombs-Kuntson Associates, Inc. City <br />Engineering firm. Motion Unaminously carried by a vote of 4-0. <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />Ray Doebler met with the Council regarding the problems in School View 1st Additlhon <br />that still have not been corrected. . The Council advised Mr. Doebler to get in contact <br />with the. other two property owners that are directly involved and arrange a meeting <br />with City Engineer Lyle Swanson, and one member of the City Council to discuss these <br />problems, it was also reoommended that they contact Mr. Zabee of the Elk River School <br />to review these problems. <br /> <br />Moved by Coucilmember Hudson and seconded by CounciliDember otto accepting the U.S. <br />flag that was donated to the City Hall of Elk River by Mrs. Kathy Smith in memory of <br />her late husband. Motion unaniinously carried by a vote of 4-0. <br /> <br />Moved by Councilmember S~ng and seconded by Councilmember otto agreeing to the <br />expense' of $22.50 to be paid to Mr. Wayne Trask for problems that",resuJ.,~ed in. water <br />backing up in his basement. Payment is being made because i~t,f~~'\ ~8 8~e ifi-t <br />was caused by our bucketing the line on that street. Motion unaminously carried by <br />a vote 4-0. <br /> <br />The Council reviewed the City Committee repDrts. <br /> <br />Moved by Councilmember SYring and seconded by Councilmember otto approving the paying <br />of the Liquor Store bills for payments as per the list.
