Agenda <br /> <br />Item number 15 relating to downtown parking was added to the agenda. <br />COUNCILMAN ENGSTROM MOVED APPROVAL OF THE AGENDA,AS.AMENDED. COUNCILMAN <br />TOTH SJOC;ONDED THE MOTION. MOTION PASSED 4-0. <br /> <br />3. Minutes <br /> <br />A typographical error in #20 was discovered and corrected. COUNCILMAN <br />OTTOf(OVE:DaPPROVAL OF THE MINUTES AS CORRECTED. COUNCILMAN TOTH <br />SJOC;ONDED THE MOTION. MOTION PASSED 4-0. <br /> <br />4. Open Mike <br /> <br />James Nord, 18015 Naples st., appeared to ask the City Council about <br />closing of Liquor Store #1. Mayor Madsen indicated that this item was on the <br />agenda. and would. be discussed later in the meeting. <br /> <br />5. Car-Son Homes. Inc. Application for Mortgage Reyenue Bond Financing <br /> <br />Mr. Dick Carson, of Car-Son Homes, Inc., presented a conceptual plan <br />for a subdivision titled Ta.ma.ra.ck to the City Council. Mr. Carson <br />indicated that his proposal was for a planneduni t development , with <br />90 to' 9.5 lots and. approximately a 75 acre park including a lake. <br />Mr. Car son also indicated that he wished to make provisionS for future <br />resubdivision of the lots, should sewer and water service be available <br />to the area in the future. Mr.Carson informed the Council that because <br />of the cos~ of improvments to a subdivision, that a larger size lot in <br />this area would nQtbe pratical and would prohibi tdevelopment. After <br />some additional comments and discussion amongst the Council, COUNCILMAN <br />DUITSMAN MOVED TO GIVE CONCEPT APPROVAL TO THE CAR-SON HOMES. INC.. <br />TAMARACK PLA1'. COUNCILMAN OTTO sreONDED THE MOTION. MOTION PASSED 4-0. <br /> <br />Mr. Bill Wa.ldusk;v. of Piper,Jaffray,c"and Hopwood, Inc., also addressed 'the <br />Council on the Car...son Homes Revenue Bond Finanoing program. The firm of <br />Piper, Jaffary, anti Hopwood, Ino. has been retained by Mr. Carson to <br />underwri te the nessesary bond issues for the program. Mr. Waldusky breifly. <br />explained the finanoing program that would be established for the Carson <br />Homes single family home projeot. Mr. Waldusky explained that the Commisioner <br />of Seouri tie$. and the law firm of Briggs and Morgan had approved of the type <br />of bond issuanoe before the Counoil this evening.. <br />
