The Sherburne County Fair wants to <br /> construct a new building which is not allowed because the use is non- <br /> conforming. When the area was zoned to Business Park it was not the intent <br /> of the City to limit or remove the fair grounds, but to plan for the future use <br /> of the area. <br /> Ordinance Amendment <br /> The amendment will add to the BP Business Park, Permitted Uses: <br /> f. Sherburne County fair <br /> Recommendation <br /> Staff recommends that the Planning Commission recommend approval of <br /> Ordinance 99-3 to amend the Elk River City Ordinance, section 900.10, to <br /> III <br /> allow Sherburne County fair as a permitted use in the BP zoning district. <br /> 13065 Orono Parkway • P.O.
