A packet of information was distributed to the council <br />members back in approximately June 1999, with a letter from staff indicating that if <br />there was no response from the council regarding this issue, staff would send a letter <br />to the Initiative Foundation denying their request. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Attached to this memo is a variety of back-up information including correspondence <br />from last year and 1997. The back-up information includes a description of how <br />many dollars were provided to the Initiative Foundation over the past couple of years. <br /> <br />It is staffs understanding that there will be representatives of the Initiative <br />Foundation at the council meeting to discuss their contribution request. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />13065 Orono Parkway · P.O.
