This left vacant the assistant finance director position. We went to market to <br /> fill the vacancy and received 36 applications. We interviewed four candidates and recommend Jesse Dorn <br /> for this position. <br /> Mr. Dorn has been working for Abdo,Eick, &Meyers as a consulting finance director for three <br /> Minnesota cities as well as other contracted accounting services for a number of clients. Prior to that,he <br /> worked for Baker Tilly Virchow Krause performing auditing and consulting services for a variety of <br /> industries including government. He holds degrees in Economics and Accounting and is a Certified <br /> Public Accountant. <br /> Mr. Dorn will start at step A of pay grade 12.
