The applicant is asking that the ordinance be amended to
allow a second smaller identification sign.

Analysis
The commercial development in the MU-ERP has one area identification on the east side of the
development on Highway 169. The applicant is proposing to have one 10 foot tall, 50 square foot sign
on the south end of the development.

The proposed ordinance amendment would allow for a second area identification sign in the MU-ERP
not to exceed 12 feet in height and 50 square feet. The proposed second sign requirements are smaller
than what is currently allowed.
