Call Meetin.q To Order <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River City Council <br />was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Mayor Klinzing. <br /> <br />2. Consider A.qenda <br /> <br />The following items were added to the agenda: <br /> <br />4.5, <br />8.1. <br />8.2. <br /> <br />Community Recreation Update <br />Request Approval to Hire Wastewater Treatment Plant Employee <br />Discuss Joint Information Systems Position <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER FARBER MOVED TO APPROVE THE MARCH 20, 2000, AGENDA AS <br />AMENDED. COUNCILMEMBER DIETZ SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED <br />5-0. <br /> <br />3. Consider Consent A.qenda <br /> <br />Councilmember Dietz requested that the minutes contain his comments on Item <br />4.3. relating to the Western Area Phase IV Improvement Project. The minutes will <br />include the following comments from Councilmember Dietz under Item 4.3.a. <br />"Councilnnember Dietz indicated he is in favor of the project. He indicated he felt it <br />is crucial to loop water lines as it provides a better quality of water. Regarding the <br />S&Z Proposal, he suggested that the developer not wait for a big box user but <br />instead work toward platting the area in some way as it is evident that sewer and <br />water will be proposed for the area in the near future, which would complete the <br />western area sewer and water project." <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER DIETZ MOVED TO APPROVE THE CONSENT AGENDA AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />3.1. 3/13/00 COUNCIL MINUTES - APPROVED AS AMENDED <br /> <br /> <br />
