Approval of a temporary 3.2. percent malt liquor license to the Elk River Lions for September 10, <br />2011, subject to the following conditions: <br />1. Receipt of a certificate of insurance naming the City of Elk River and Sherburne County as <br />additional insured. <br />2. Alcohol must be limited to an area that is fenced in with secured and controlled access. Age <br />verification is required and wrist band control is recommended. <br />B. Approval of a temporary on-sale liquor license for a community event to McCoy Restaurants, Inc. <br />d/b/a McCoy's Pub for September 10, 2011, subject to the following condition: <br />1. Alcohol must be limited to an area that is fenced in with secured and controlled access. Age <br />verification is required and wrist band control is recommended. <br />Background/Discussion <br />The Elk River Lions and McCoy's Pub have applied for temporary liquor licenses for the Elk River Fire <br />Department Dance which will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2011. The dance is scheduled to take <br />place at the Sherburne County Fairgrounds with an alternate location at the Elk River Fire Station #2 in <br />case of inclement weather.
