In order to adopt the new building code, Chapter 10, Subsection <br />1000.00, of the City Code of Ordinances titled "Adoption of State Building <br />Code ", must be amended. Action Requested: Adopt Attached Ordinance <br />Amendment to Amend Chapter 10 <br />5.15B <br />Building Permit Fees <br />The Building and Zoning Department is proposing to modify several of the <br />miscellaneous permit fees, the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning fees, <br />and building permit fees. Mr. Skogstad elaborates on these in his attached <br />October 16, 1995, memo. Action Requested: Pass Fee Resolution <br />5.15C <br />Mineral Excavation License <br />In 1995, the city charged $15.00 per acre for land that was going to be mined <br />in the forthcoming year or was approved to be mined. In 1996, staff is <br />proposing this fee be increased to $20.00 per acre to cover the cost of <br />administering the gravel mining licenses. <br />13065 Orono Parkway • P.O.
