Zerwas, Chief of Police <br /> <br />September 6, 2001 <br /> <br />Canine (K-9) Update <br /> <br />This is an update for the city council on our K-9 Program. Unfortunately, Corporal <br />Dummer had to have his K-9, Billy, euthanized because of a cancerous tumor on his hip. <br /> <br />We, therefore, have selected another officer per policy to become our newest K-9 officer. <br />Officer Brian Boos, who has been with the City for three (3) plus years, will be our new K-9 <br />officer. He will start his training with our new dog on September 10, 2001.
