The liquor license is not valid until approved by the Commissioner of Public Safety. <br />2. Event must be held in an area that is fenced in with secured and controlled access and be <br />compact and contiguous to the licensed establishment. <br />3. Certificate of insurance shall be filed with the city listing the city as an additional insured. <br />Background/Discussion <br />The Elk Rivex Eagles Club is requesting approval fox a special event on Saturday, June 5, 2010, from 2:00 <br />p.m. until midnight. The Eagles will be having an auction and music as a fundraiser for the Independence <br />Day fireworks. They would like to serve alcohol to members and guests outside their establishment in the <br />parking lot. State law allows for these types of events as long as the area is compact and contiguous to the <br />licensed establishment.
