Case File: CU 10-10 <br />ZC 10-04 <br />Page 4 <br />Sprint Cell tower <br />Sportsman Club <br />(3) Minimise adverse visual effects of towers through careful design and siting standards which attempt to screen <br />and/or camouflage towers and antennas from adjacentprivate and public property. <br />(4) Maximise the use of existing and approved towers, buildings and other structures to accommoa'ate new wireless <br />telecommunication antennas in order to reduce the number of towers needed to serve the community. <br />In staff s opinion, the applicant satisfies these requirements: <br />2) Following conditions proposed by staff, damage to adjacent properties should be avoided. <br />3) Minimizing adverse visual impacts does not suggest that there will zero visual impact. The <br />applicant has taken pains to locate the tower into the property, and at a height less than the <br />maximum permitted. <br />4) The applicant has maximized the use of existing towers.
