Cable TV Etiquette <br />1. Speak into microphones and speak at or just above your normal conversational level. <br />Avoid speaking in monotone. <br />2. Avoid <br />a. chewing gum <br />b. tapping microphones or table top <br />c. clicking pens <br />d. moving papers on or around microphones. <br />3. Do not place pop cans, coffee mugs, or other objects in front of you. <br />4. Assume you are always on camera and behave accordingly. <br />5. Assume your microphone is always on. No sidebar discussions or interruptions. <br />6. Come prepared. <br />7. Don't take things personally. <br />8. Ensure that you understand. <br />9.
