Poppy <br />Day is May 14, 2010. <br />The Poppy has become traditional as the Memorial Day flower and as the symbol of remembrance for <br />the men and women who have lost their lives or health in the defense of their country. The Elk River - <br />Rogers VFW #5518 Ladies Auxiliary has pledged to remind America annually of this debt through the <br />distribution of the memorial flower.
