7) The General Manager-reviewed with the Commissioners a letter <br />from the insurance company's lawyer that the electrocution <br />lawsuit has been completely settled. <br />8) Steve Nordahl, ERMU Security Systems specialist, presented to <br />the Commissioner a report on the status of the Security Systems <br />enterprise. The Commissioners expressed a desire to see the <br />advertising be accelerated to encourage more sales. <br />9) A possible substance abuse policy for the Commercial Drivers <br />was discussed. Motion by Mr. Tralle, seconded by Mr. Dietz to <br />table this discussion to a future meeting. The motion carried. <br />10) Motion by Mr. Tralle, seconded by Mr. Dietz to authorize the <br />expenditure of $22,948.48 for Water Main improvements at Elk <br />Hills Drive and Dodge Street in conjunction with the road <br />improvements. The motion carried. <br />11j The Water Superintendent reported on the status of various <br />water department projects. <br />12) The Line Superintendent reviewed the status of construction <br />projects and other operating conditions. <br />13) The General Manager reviewed the August financial. statements <br />with the Commissioners. Motioa by Mr. Dietz, seconded by Mr. <br />Zabee to receive and file the August financial statements. The <br />motion carried. <br />14) .Motion by Mr. Tralle, seconded by Mr. Zabee, to agprove the • <br />-chuck register. The motion carried. <br />-- 15) The-next meeting was set for Tuesday, October 10, 1995 at 4:00 <br />P.M. at the Utilities office. <br />16) Motion by Mr. Dietz, seconded by Mr. Zabee to adjourn.
