The Land Management Team at Prairie Restorations, Inc. consists of 12 full time <br />employees and many seasonal employees. Together, they maintain and care for more <br />than 900 prairies, wetlands and alternative native landscapes on an annual basis. The <br />services provided include prescribed burning, mowings, chemical and non-chemical <br />weed control, buckthorn removal, and woodland management. All management staff has <br />been required to obtain a Minnesota herbicide applicators license. From initial customer contact and sales <br />proposals to the finished restoration, the PRI Contracting Team works together to bring <br />various native plant communities back to Minnesota and surrounding states. Together, <br />they are typically involved with the installation of over 300 projects annually. More <br />specific work activity includes sales, restoration design, site preparation, seeding, <br />planting and erosion control. Restoring prairies, woodlands, and wetlands on residential, <br />commercial and government sites is a process that the Contracting Team specializes in <br />and strives to match native species to the site.
