Answer: The City will provide the financing through property taxes each year. No interest will be <br />charged if paid in full up front. <br />Question:. How is the financing setup? <br />Answer: The financing will automatically be set up based on a 5-year payment schedule unless <br />requested differently by the property owner. <br />Question: What will be the final assessment rate? <br />Answer: The assessment hearing by the City Council will ultimately determine the final rate. <br />Question: How does the project get voted on? <br />Answer: The City Council will hear the project at both the Public Hearing and the Assessment <br />Hearing. At that time the City Council will vote on whether to proceed with construction. <br />Question: Was Main Street overlaid previously, it seems that the northerly part was overlaid a <br />couple of pears ago. <br />Answet: No, east of Lowell Avenue, Main Street was overlaid in 2008 West of Lowell Avenue there <br />is no record of any overlay just crack seal and seal coat projects have been completed. <br />Question: I would like "my" Main Street saved by being made into a boulevard to reduce speed. <br />Answer.
