The locating department had a total of 14b locate ticl~ets for January. <br />Same of them are meets which require several trips back to the same area <br />as needed to mark utilities. Five of the tickets were emergency locates. <br />2. The Metering Department continued with weekly and monthly substation <br />checks, changing out meters to the radio read meters, and doing the <br />monthly power bill. Michael Price attended a seminar in Monticello on <br />geothermal systems. It covered off peak issues and theory, 7t was very <br />informative. <br />3. The Security Systems Department had a total of 73 phone contacts, l8 <br />personal visits,l b systems quoted, S sales made, 9 installs completed and <br />22 service calls for the month of March, <br />1 am including a thank you letter from a customer and also a survey done <br />by Sherburne County for your review. <br />4. Power Plant staff has performed the monthly r~xn of the generators. The <br />generators ran great. <br />5. Last year we had purchased four digital 800 MHz radios for <br />communicating with Sherburne County, City Police and the Fire <br />Department. we've been waiting for the county to program them and they <br />are now up and running with the 8a0 MHz system They are programming <br />the City's radios and I've dropped ours off with the Fire Chief for to be <br />programrned. <br />
