MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />Item 4.3. <br /> <br />TO: <br /> <br />FROM: <br /> <br />DATE: <br /> <br />SUBJECT: <br /> <br />Mayor and City Council <br /> <br />Michele McPherso~rector of Planning <br /> <br />July 16, 200 I <br /> <br />July Park and Recreation Commission Update <br />Consider Park and Recreation Commission Applicants <br /> <br />At its July meeting, the Commission's agenda included: <br /> <br />Consideration of park dedication for Elk River Station, Hilltop Woods Estates 2nd <br />Addition, and Administrative Subdivision Request by Mike and Vicki Gwynn. <br />Consideration of new park names, which will be brought to the City Council for <br />consideration in August after a final review. <br />Review of the Park Department Subcommittee's work to date. <br /> <br />No action is required by the Council at this time regarding these issues. <br /> <br />Consider Park and Recreation Commission Applicants <br /> <br />Request <br /> <br />The Council is asked interview for applicants for consideration to two vacancies on the Park and <br />Recreation Commission. <br /> <br />Attachments <br /> <br />· Applicant Applications <br /> <br />Analysis <br /> <br />Staff has received applications from four residents to be considered for appointment to the Park <br />and Recreation Commission. The two vacancies that need to be filled are a three-year term <br />vacated by Ron Westrum at the end of the year 2000 and completion of a term vacated by <br />Stoffel Reitsma, which will expire February 2003. <br /> <br /> <br />
