The future buildings as shown on the civil plans are not set in stone. The size and <br />orientation of the buildings will be determined by l .}Tenant demand and requirements <br />2,} The building code and 3.} The City's preference or approval. <br />If screening the outside storage with the future buildings along the property lines would <br />satisfy the councilman's concern, we can certainly endeavor to layout future buildings <br />accordingly, <br />The initial outside storage will be laid out in neat and orderly rows, will not impair the <br />egress or de~egress of the building tenants and will have clear access to each unit so <br />nothing will have to be moved when picked up in the spring. <br />The demand for this type of storage space, inside or outside is being created by City <br />Councils throughout the metro areas who are limiting storage of recreational vehicles on <br />residential lots and seems to be increasing from year to year. <br />To give you an idea of what we anticipate storing in this new facility, ~ can tell you what <br />is stored in our existing facilities located on highway I0 and I69 in Ramsey, These <br />facilities are scheduled to be removed for the improvement of highways I01169 by the <br />state highway department, <br />Inside we have mainly pontoons and boats; we also have camping trailers, snowmobiles, <br />jet skies, motor homes, antique cars, electric dollies for moving boats and bobcat for <br />snow plowing, with a total of two hundred units, <br />outside at the present time we have; <br />3 pontoon trailers for pick^up and delivery <br />4 Boat trailers <br />2 Forklifts <br />1 Scissor lift <br />2 Fold out trailer carripers <br />2 Small Motor homes <br />~ Large Motor homes <br />8 Shrink wrapped boats <br />I Tarp covered antique car <br />Some of the last items are destined to be inside when room is available. <br />I would life the council to consider allowing us to plant fewer andlor smaller trees than <br />the ordinance suggests since we are on a dead end street with no traffic which will allow <br />ENE (763) 424-652Q <br />FAX (763) 425-6428 <br /> <br />
