We received the letter notifying us Of the April 14, 2003, neighborhood Walk through regarding 'proposed, laili~y and slreet improvements; however, no where inthis letter ~ it indie, ate this is ~ on thc City council agenda.for approval the very same night. It's fortunate we just happened to see this on the cable channel. Why. since we are involved in this outrageously expensive project, not informed of this? On a secondary note, when will the city of Elk River make itself affordable for manufacturing businesses to move here to improve the tax base, rather than putting as many houses in as you can and use exlrao~ amounts of city services. With a higher tax base from manufacturing businesses, the residents of this citY would fred it more affordable to live in this city. 5/7/2003
