A cover letter from John Lichter of Liesch <br />and Associates, the city's environmental consultant for this issue, is attached to this <br />memo. Staff will provide the Council with a complete copy of the test results, if <br />desired. <br /> <br />Two of the residential wells that have been tested in the past no longer exist. They <br />were abandoned when the associated residences hooked up to city services. The other <br />two residential wells tested had no contamination evident. Low levels (below the <br />action limits set by the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency) of volatile organic <br />compounds were detected in the'monitoring wells at the dump. <br /> <br />The levels of contamination do not dictate that the city takes any further action at this <br />time.
